What I Believe About My God

Just some random thoughts I had while waking up from a nap I sorely needed.

What I Believe About My God

I believe....

That He puts people in my life for a reason.
That He has a plan for me and everyone else, and while I'll never know what the whole plan is while I'm alive, I'll get bits and pieces of information that'll make it all easier.
That He is absolutely loving.
That He sometimes talks to me through the people around me, if I'm willing to listen.
That prayer is when I talk to God, and meditation is when I listen for a response.
That when I pray, sometimes God says no, and that's okay. Sometimes He says yes, but that doesn't necessarily mean yes on my time or on my terms.
That He accepts me as I am right now. That doesn't mean I don't have things to change, but that if I were to die today, I know He'd accept me as I am.
That He created me with a purpose, and I don't have to know what that purpose is.
That He created the world with a purpose, and part of my purpose is to accept people and situations as they are, not how I want them to be.
That injustice is something He doesn't want, and I have to stand up and make my voice heard whenever I see injustice.
That He is the center of the universe, which means I am not.
That if He brings me to a situation, He'll bring me through it.
That He wants me to do the next right thing in front of me to do every single day.
