Doctor Visit

Went to the doctor today. I've been suffering from extreme fatigue for over a year now. I went a year ago, and they found nothing. They took a lot of blood last time. This time, the Nurse Practitioner, Heidi, took five more tubes of blood. She's looking for unusual stuff like Parvo and Lyme. Won't know until next week. Hope an end is in sight for this.

She also gave me Chantix. It's a medication to help with smoking cessation. I quit for 3 weeks before with Chantix, but I didn't follow directions and take it for the full 12 weeks. I'm going to try that this time. (It helps to follow directions). I wrote a C++ program to calculate the times I'm allowed to have cigarettes for the next week (I'm tapering off over the first week on Chantix, which is what you're supposed to do.) I hate cigarette schedules. But I have to quit and I want to quit.

I feel Blah. Can't sleep, but I have work tomorrow (in less than 6 hours I have to be up) so back to bed I go. Hope I sleep. Start the Chantix tomorrow. Started Celebrex today for my arthritis and sciatica. God, I should have never taken up skateboarding as a teenager, lol. Oh well, onwards to bed.

I'd appreciate hearing from anybody who's had success with Chantix or quitting smoking in general.
