Whoa, almost half (49 out of 100).  I need to get the other 51.  LOL.  But how come there is no William Faulkner on this list.  LAME..... That would have seriously increased my numbers since I've read EVERYTHING by Faulkner, hehe.  I'm a tad surprised that David Foster Wallace and Jonathan Franzen don't appear anywhere on the list either.  How does "The Five People You Meet in Heaven" end up on a list of 100 essential reads, and The Corrections does not.  And The Davinci Code an Essential????  NOT!  Farenheit 451, now that's an essential novel.
